Batam Assignment 1996

If i am not mistaken with the year, I was assigned to do a project with Imigration System in Batam, We, me and Dedi was assigned there for almost a year. We lived in company house and did programming from home and it's really a great time to be there, but after a while the city really make me crazy, no real life there so to speak, just an city with night life only and most of the people is from outside (mostly java).

What i was remember about Batam was, I paid a lot of money for telephone, to call my girlfriend in Jakarta.

Not a good place to live, but it okay.
